Ok, back on topic here.

You might be a gun nut if you know to the 1/10 of a second how fast you can field strip a 1911

You know your a gun nut when your wife tells you you have to many guns. And you can come up with a reason why you need another one. Besides saying but I won't it.

I do this all the time. "Why do you need another AR you have one." Because this one is a 20" the other is 16". I can shoot farther with better accuracy. "We'll why do you need the 16"? Because the 20" is to long for cqb.

Hahaha me too. Add 15 minutes looking for the spring that shot across the room.

You might be a gun nut if you can only get close to naming all your guns by saying "I have pretty much every common caliber ranging from 17 mach 2 all the way up to 50 bmg"

You might be a gun nut if your dog's name is Schmeisser.

You might be a gun nut if you're still cleaning up the mess you made, from when you flipped the table over after hearing Costa's comment.

You might be a gun nut if you're bored and open the NRA disassembly guide to rifles and shotguns.

You might be a gun nut if you spent all day at work yesterday schooling some Danish kid about American gun laws on FTF. (Don't tell my boss)

You might be a gun nut if it takes you longer to pick out a holster than it takes for your wife to choose shoes to wear.
