Default You Know You're a Gun Nut If

You Know You're A Gun Nut If...

If you cannot recall how many firearms you own,

If you know the difference between a "clip" and a
"magazine,"

If you tape American Shooter so you can pause, reverse and
fast forward to do a complete analysis of the show,

If you ever bought two brands of the same weight and type of
bullet, just to see if one "shot better,"

If you read that "Brady II" would outlaw possession of more
than 1,000 rounds of ammunition and think, "I have more than
that rolling around loose in the trunk of my car!"

If your guns are cleaner than your home,

If you identify the gun on the cover of Dillon's Blue Press
before you notice the girl,

If .22LR cartridges frequently find their way into your
wife's washing machine,

If your gun safe cost more than your dining room set,

If you have Brownells on speed dial,

If you watch old WWII movies and can identify all the rifles
and handguns, but can't remember who starred in the movie or
what it was about,

If you wonder what size rings you would need to mount the
Hubble Space Telescope on a varmint rifle,

If your gun collection is worth more than your automobile,

If your homeowners insurance company would cancel your policy
if they ever knew:

(1) the true value of your firearms
(2) how much ammunition you have stored at home
(3) how much gun powder you have stored
(4) how many primers you have.

If YOU get a call from your LGS- that they are a bit short of ammo, and are waiting on a shipment.......

And can THEY borrow a couple of cases until their order gets delivered....

If the folks at Brownells recognize your voice on the phone......

If the local police call YOU to help identify a firearm.....

If you have ever used a rifle sling for a belt.....

If you unload all the ammo from the trunk of your car, and your fuel mileage improves by 5 mpg.....

If gun shows have a parking place next to the door with a sign that says "Reserved for (your name here).....

I'm guilty of several. But one y'all missed that I think I may have invented just yesterday...

If you post a classified, saying, "Will work for ammo".

By the way, did you follow through on that?

I actually have worked for a 100 12ga target, and a box of 90 clays before.

You might be a gun nut if:

You can recall the serial # on several of your guns. (I can on a couple)

You are personal friends with several people at your LGS.

You find .22lr rounds in the weirdest places.

And my last one,

You spend more time on FTF than all the websites you visit put together.

Well the guy lives about 2 hours away. Neither of us realized that until we got to exchanging more information. It simply wasn't worth it.
