Yeah, that'd work lol

My uncle took out a brown snake in the garden of his farm with a side-by-side, while I was up there many years ago...reared up like a mothereffer into a distinctive 'double S' shape (why they are also known as 'false cobras' = Pseudonaja textilis) so you can imagine how far they can launch themselves. It was high Summer and that snake was just really pissed off. He had to shoot both barrels FAST to cut it in half. It had come into the environs of the house, so no other choice but to dispatch it - out in the paddock he would have left it alone.

He was squirming so much that once I had his head in the tongs, I had to pick his body up with my left hand to get control of him to put him in the bag. Took him, and all the others, out into the desert and released him. He would have made some nice 1911 grips though.

Heh, baby rattler...sounds cute. Kind of

Get inoculated! You can drink wine on Sunday morning, and it's a GOOD thing!

With that many snakes, it makes even LESS sense for you guys to suffer under strict gun control BS.

I try to ID them, but when in doubt there might be a ND or two.

Regarding the "baby": my old pet python almost got the name Bitey when he was a little one; small snakes are snacks for most everything & respond to most visual stimuli by biting. He was much cuter later in life.

Well, THEORETICALLY you're not meant to kill any native species, (except for example, roos under a Govt permit). Of course no one's gonna know if you off a snake or two, or pop those crows eating your fig trees (as my uncle used to do) but that's the law. Theoretically.

So the control of guns has nothing to do with the marauding hordes of deadly snakes we have

Wildlife management FAIL, just my opinion. Of course, my vision of wildlife management involves massive culls and cages for the survivors, when it comes to most venomous or dangerous animals.
