Default WWII Fighter found in the Sahara

Man! Why cant I find a old Airplane?? I know a B-17 crashed in the AZ desert but was cleaned up...

A remarkably well-preserved fighter plane that crashed in the Sahara Desert during World War II has been found 70 years later, shedding new light on the pilot's struggle to survive.

...... I suffer from a very rare genetic defect that causes me to be sympathetic toward the International cause. There is no cure.

poor pilot, that had to suck. alone in the sand to slip away without notice... or anyone knowing what happend. too bad he didn twrite a journal on or in the plane somewhere before he left it
I have been a silent witness
to all of America's finest hours.
But my finest hour comes
when I am torn into strips and used as bandages
for my wounded comrades on the battlefield,
When I fly at half-mast to honor my soldiers,
Or when I lie in the trembling arms
of a grieving mother
at the graveside of her fallen son.
