Too much paranoia perhaps. Don't quite know what the stats are on likelihood of home invasion but I am sure it will depend on where you live or experience you have had in past. Might be self perpetual. If you didn't have the gun would you still feel the same or would you put those feelings to back of your mind and just get on with life. There's probably more chance of getting run over by a bus etc. There is nothing wrong with being ready and having a plan with a firearm being accessible, but IF you are moving it about or having guns all round the house, IMO I think your feeding your own paranoia

Well I don't live in a bad area nor do I live in a good one but there is shady people in my area I have had my house broken in to once and my brother beaten up so that feeds my paranoia

Then to a certain extent I understand it so long that your not hugging the wall's of your house knee's bent checking the angles and executing a forward roll into the kitchen... in order to make a sandwich. Then that's ok . ;-D

and or, where ever youre living? you need to move. it doesnt sound safe if its making you think that.

so yes its wrong.
it tells me you trust in you gun more than God and have low self esteem and an inability to properly handle a life situation without a gun nearby.

im more afraid of shaky gun owners who can go off like a loose cannon, than i am of crooks with guns.
