its a heavy steel bar with a groove in it. i have no idea.

it looks like the piece on a metal sheer that holds the blade.maybe?

Those things are usually made out of tool steel (very hard)and I don't see any way to a-fix blade to it , no set screw holes or anything..? Any part No. On it..?

It's made for bending sheet metal, by hand me thinks...........Or it could be used in the rolling process of sheet metal. The rollers are missing.......The sheet metal just fits into the grove and the rollers take over.......

I work in a sheet metal shop and didn't know that. Haha. The ones in my shop have groves on both sides 1" and 3/8".
