Maybe I should have said control line aircraft.
Its been around longer.


Most history books attribute Jim Walker as the farther of Control Line Flying. However, according Charles Mackey's research, Oba St. Clair has documented and flown his four-line system as early as 1937.

ah ha........
so, what does this heater do? you apply it to something and it shrinks. how does it do it without melting the object?

I think I saw that you posted in another thread that your father was a cabinetmaker, I am too. I have a similar iron that is use to heat up pre-glued wood edge banding.

You basically "iron" on the banding to the edge of a piece of plywood
