this ones been bugging me for years.
here we have 2 peddles. but what it attaches to puzzles me. even if it did hook to something, what would it do?

Not just 2 pedals---a set of pedals. One left, one right. Looks like the pedals are steel,
and the hooks are---Aluminum???? Beyond those observations, no good idea.

good point. a set of peddles. you are correct on the metal it is made of.

Foote pedals for brake bands, what year did they start using al u minium....Could be old oil field equipment.............

the peddle is obvious. its the part its connected to that is the mystery. no oil rigs in conn. painting ladders? some kind of hoist?

They look like the peddles i've seen on some of the Amish wagons in my area. They also remind me of tractor peddles.
