I did a quick ebay search & it appears to be an adapter for a small portable Bentley TV so you could watch it in your car.

unless you have the tv to go with it I would probably toss it

ahhh, bentley was a tv.
and it most likely is or was analog. so without a converter....its useless. right?

pretty much, my grandparents had one & it was black & white. 30 years ago it was a neat idea but they were big & heavy by todays standards. only thing useful thing in them now would be most had an AM/FM tuner.

if you look on ebay people are listing the TVs for as little as $20 & no one is buying 'em. best just to toss it

If you have a whole lot of wires, you could recycle them. It must be valuable. Thieves are always stealing copper around here.
