Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Not only no, but F*CK NO!

I'll visit Detroit when it's a "Remember When" Community "After The Bomb"

JD, Detroit is where most of those fine cars were born, bringing back a bit of pride/respect to the area is a good thing. I grew up not far from Detriot and it's sad to see how what use to be one shinning examples of Amreica has been allowed to decay.

Cane, Never been, wish I could and enjoy all of the cars, stories and the people.

Will, its a hoot! Too much to take in for one day. Thats why I like to stay at a friends for the lead-up week. There are car activities everywhere. They call it a one day event but it's more like a week.

If you ever get a chance, go. Its an event like Indy or Daytona. Just being there is the goal.

How about us doing some planning. I've got plenty of friends that would be more than happy to put us up for a night or three.

I am not going this year but several of my engineering friends have/are retiring and I'm sure there will be a gathering next year where we can find safe harbor among friendlies. Moving around this event is so much easier with well seasoned veterans.

Start getting familiar with flights into Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). I can pick you up for your first spectator maiden voyage. It’s a worthy pilgrimage.
