Man, Congrats! now just think how many rifles and pistols will fit under that back seat. i buy a new one every 4-6 years. I have a 2011 HD2500, diesel w/ 6 speed allison. chevy makes a good product. I just love mine and they fit real well with the gun image.

Yeah it has a pretty cool interior locking compartment that is stashed away but easy to get to for transporting valuables.

Got the bedliner in it, new wash and wax, she sure is purdy!

Thank you for all of the kind words, it is always exciting to get a new ("even new to you" used) vehicle. Everywhere I go people ask me about it, they really did a nice job on the new design.

Nice looking truck. I'm not in the GM camp, but this latest restyle of the GM trucks turned out really nice. IMHO, you picked a good color too. 4x4?

The depreciation hit on a new vehicle only counts if you don't keep it. If you keep it a long time and keep up on the maintenance you will be fine.

I have a friend who's dad would buy a new car with the goal of driving it to the junk yard. He would fix and maintain it to make it last as long as possible, but when it was shot he would get it running long enough to drive to the junk yard wouldn't hear of having it hauled to the junk yard.
