DefaultThis will start trouble, for sure

Cane brings up Iambic Pentameter. Ineff is really Dennis Miller, with a harder edge. People argue technical merits of Star Trek technology.

Incredibly bright people here. But who on the forum is the smartest?

How would we determine the smartest forum member? Should we?

I see gun toting Mensa candidates.

What do the intellectual elite propose?

If we just say you, Benning, are the smartest, do we ever have to hear about it again?

The "smartest" are the ones who don't reply to this thread...

I don't know why, I'm sensing Cane. Maybe it's the Binary thing.

How far in space, barring collision with a celestial body, would a .45ACP travel? If it was HP, would it expand under it's own momentum?

Would a firearm even discharge in space? Would there be recoil in a weightless environment?

Nope. No O2 to ignite the gun powder.

As far as recoil I think it'd cause you to start spinning, I could be wrong though.

No O2, no ignition, no recoil. Would the casing even hold up to the lack of atmospheric pressure? Plus, you'd have to remove the trigger guard. Those gloves are huge!

I was assuming that the gun would go off in space. Then they'd spin wouldn't they?
