wife gun problem
So whenever guns come up in a conversation with the wife and I she always insists on a new one for her cc. She wants one pretty bad but the only problem we don't have the funds like at all. Also saving up is outta the question since im always strapped.
I have my ar and its my baby! But should I sell it so I can protect my other baby and during income tax get me another ar?? Should i get her something now just in case and not later when its to late? Let me here your guys thoughts.

Have you looked at used firearms for her? Maybe a Bersa Thunder .380, very nice flat nickel finish.
I'm not an AR fan, but most people seem to regret it when they sell a firearm.

IMO, you sell now, and you'll play hob on catch up later.
Why does she want a "new" CC ? My point being, is it well
thought out, or will it be simply swapping one noisy cricket for
another? Has she found a CC she has tried, truly likes, and enjoys
shooting?
Or had you considered her demand for a new CC is just a ploy
to block your purchasing any new gun?

Oh boy, tough call. I suggest you both get a second job and save up for her new piece. Safe answer!

She wants a gun get her one don't need to cost a fortune. If something where to happen and you left her disarmed. Never happen just saying.

OK, here is my take on it. I wouldn't sell a weapon i liked (even an AR) to buy her a weapon that she MIGHT like and MIGHT carry IF she gets her permit. Tell her to get her permit first, and in the mean time look for a carry piece you can afford. The Bersa's start at $280~. There was a guy on here the other day who was carrying a Hipoint until he could afford to get something nicer/more comfortable. If we are talking "purse carry" rather than in a holster at the waist, a larger firearm won't be as much of a problem. If she gets the permit, take her with you to the pawn shop to check out a variety of firearms INCLUDING some value-priced, used models like solid, older .38 special revolvers and police trade-in models. If she pooh-poohs the used models, divide the price by the cost of her favorite manicure/hair cut/dinner out to make it more concrete.
Good luck!
