Default Why not to turn a replica into a real gun

Saw this on youtube and had to post it. The guy apparently turned a non firing replica into a real gun and guess what? it exploded.

P.S. He survived

I once saw the aftermath of a .22 that exploded. A shard from the barrel was stuck in a pair of shooting glasses.
