but here are my main reasons.

1. they treat me respectfully as they do everyone that enters their store.

2. they are friendly and have great senses of humor.

3. they are knowledgeable and honest.

4. they have decent pricing on most everything in the store.

5. they never gouged people on gun or ammo prices when all the recent events of several months ago happened. the stood by their customers and treated us fairly.

6. they will order just about anything in stock and still sell it a fair price.

7. they make you feel appreciated as a customer, no matter the amount you spent.

8. they have damn good coffee!

9. they have a very good selection of guns, ammo, accessories, reloading supplies and optics.

10. they make you feel welcome when you walk in the door.

if you are ever in the East Texas area, drop by Buffalo Sporting Goods in Buffalo Texas. it's well worth it!
Thank you; sounds like the recipe we try to emulate. Not sure about the coffee though.

well if your coffee isn't any good, i'll never come by! JK!

seriously, my LGS is great and i enjoy shopping there and visiting them. they are about 40 miles from my house, so i generally spend several hours there when i go. they have been in business for about 35 years now in the same location.

What kind do you like and we'll stock when the new digs open. Of course, if we stock, you have to road trip

appreciate the offer! but long trips are not for me anymore now.

i think that treating the customers with respect, a healthy sense of humor, decent prices, and being fair and honest, your business will go far.

#1: Me too

#2: That's the way we started in my biz partner's garage and are committed to continuing. Minor issue is not everyone understands or sometimes appreciates my sense of humor. It CAN be kinda dry at times.
