Default Why I love my Local Gun Shop

I love my local gun shop because I receive back 10 percent store credit for each purchase. My last purchase gave me back 180 euros for the Hera Arms AR15. That is right, 180 euros of credit. So, I bought ammo!

1 box of 140 Sellier and Bellot .223
1 box of 250 Sellier and Bellot 9mm
2 boxes of 25 Zombie 9mm. (The only way to get critical defense over here!)
1 box of 25 less than lethal rubber buck shot shells. (For unarmed intruders. German law.)
1 box of 10 00 buck magnum shells. (For armed intruders.)
2 boxes of 50 Magtech .40.

180 euros worth of ammunition.

Why do you love your LGS.....?

I like mine for a number of reasons:
Coffee is always on.
The smell of guns.
Like minded people.
Intelligent conversations.
Availability of equipment and resources.

Oh wait, I am my own LGS.

I generally like Germany's laws, especially their traffic laws but geez, how ya gonna know if the intruder is armed? You going to just ask? Lol, wow.

I Loved, past tense, my local gun shop.
It was a Mom & Pop & son business.
Father and Son were the Gunsmiths.
Sadly, Pop died.
Mom & Son ran the shop for awhile.
Damn, I didn't go there for awhile,
when I did,
The shop was closed.
Now my Gun store is Turners.
Signal Hill.
Most always get good service there.
One salesman always makes time to see if I can be served.
Last time he showed me an old Winchester L/A, mdl. ??
Price tag, $5,ooo.oo.
I gave it right back.

I have about 15 gun stores I frequent so LGS would have to be plural. All within about 30 minutes max. Ky is a great gun place. I can go to BUDS and see 100+ 1911's and hit other stores that have 20+ 1911's from WW II and WW I and little mom and pop shops. Guns everywhere. Centerfire Systems is 20 minutes away, Shooters Connection 1/2 mile away so I have everything the world is wanting and buying in my back yard.

About the same distance to the east of Pensacola as Lillian is to the west.
(I wonder if I should put down "Red Neck Riviera"?)

I always did when I lived on/just off Old Gulf Bch Hwy.

I seem to recall the Reef and FloraBama, might have been there more than twice.

why i love my LGS. this sounds like a book report!

but here are my main reasons.

1. they treat me respectfully as they do everyone that enters their store.

2. they are friendly and have great senses of humor.

3. they are knowledgeable and honest.

4. they have decent pricing on most everything in the store.

5. they never gouged people on gun or ammo prices when all the recent events of several months ago happened. the stood by their customers and treated us fairly.

6. they will order just about anything in stock and still sell it a fair price.

7. they make you feel appreciated as a customer, no matter the amount you spent.

8. they have damn good coffee!

9. they have a very good selection of guns, ammo, accessories, reloading supplies and optics.

10. they make you feel welcome when you walk in the door.

if you are ever in the East Texas area, drop by Buffalo Sporting Goods in Buffalo Texas. it's well worth it!
