Well, you can't ever have too many mags, or ammo to fill them. Occasionally I misplace one of my 1911 mags but I usually find it within a couple of days. The last time I misplaced it, I found it under the seat in my truck. It had fell on the floor and settled in next to the mounting bolts for the passender seat.

I have 4 mags for my 1911 and 6 for my AR (2 20's and 4 30's).
Century Arms AR-15A2, 5.56
1946 Mosin-Nagant M44, 7.62x54R
1978 YUGO SKS, 7.62x39
NEF Protector Pump, 12 gauge
Savage Model 64, .22LR
NEF Pardner Tracker II, 12 gauge
Rock Island Armory 1911A1, .45 ACP
Remington 870 'Express Magnum' 12 gauge
Bersa Thunder .380

Yep, happens al the time. I lost my M1991A1's recoil spring plunger once when stripping for cleaning - I saw it hit the wall right behind the TV! I could NOT find it after a lengthy search!
So I order a new one - got it in a couple weeks later. Just for giggles I take one more look behind the TV - the danged thing is sitting right there! Sheesh....!

This might not be a bad time to stock-up on mags. If BHO wins the election, you can bet another assault weapon ban will soon follow.
