It sounded like you were implying it. If not, then we're good
No if it would make difference to stopping mass shootings etc possibly. But as it won't make any difference no, they tightened up the firearms laws here after a school shooting regards handguns and semi-auto rifles. The last mass shooting the guy used a .22 rifle and a shotgun. If someone is determined to carry out such a act they can always find some sort of weapon.

Finally we agree on something.

I would like to hear some cases where it happened to LEOs though. There can usually be something learned from nearly every situation.

Even for LEO's it's pretty rare.

I think that many, if not most, of us would agree on this. IF gun banning actually WORKED, and it was proven there would never again be a senseless act of gun violence, I personally would be the first to start screaming to ban them all. But it's about as effective as banning crime. Crime has already been banned, under penalty of fines and imprisonment, but it still happens.

Banning guns simply DOESN'T WORK.

very true.

man was killing man, long before the invention of firearms. they did it with sticks, rocks, swords and many other objects.

as i have stated before, we need criminal control, not gun control.

Then i'd imagine Mexico is probably your number one interest when it comes to firearm laws and fatalities....

This a link to a discussion of a LEO meeting about the new OC regs in MS: http://www.msgunowners.com/t41161-open-carry-some-questions-answered-maybe

It is a nice MS-centered firearms forum, but I keep forgetting my password.
