You cannot argue this kind of logic!

Enough said... im buying it! I will let you all know how it goes!

Would save on ammo too, wouldn't it?

They could use that as a slogan: "Why waste your ammo on badguys?"

Of course, even lecture-pointer-lasers are illegal here, without a valid reason lol

When I buy one I am going to heavily modify it into a pistol.
I plan on making a pistol body to house it all. I will of course add a much needed trigger and a fool proof safety. Finish it all up with iron sights.

Now I just need a place to shoot it.

I don't want a light saber, I want to be able to use the Jedi Mind trick so when I get stopped for speeding I can just say, "you don't need to give me a ticket", the cop will say, "I don't need to give you a ticket." and I can say, "we can move along," and the cop will say, "You can move along."

Two words: FATHER'S DAY.

My lovely wife asked me what I want for father's day. So I sent her the link to wickedlasers.com. I won't get it by Sunday, but it should be soon.

If/when I get it, a review will be following.

No chance...well what a surprise

Laws in most Australian states classify any laser pointer with an output over 1mW as a dangerous or prohibited implement and require an import permit and written authorisation from the local police firearms registry.

Authorisation is granted in some states if the owner is a member of an astronomy club or society.

However the Astronomical Society of Australia says any power over 20mW is "excessive", making the Spyder III fifty times stronger than what's needed to point out planets and stars.

OK, it's ordered. But I'm scared of it already.

It WILL blind you immediately if you view the beam directly or catch a beam reflection. Beam refraction (like off a wall) can cause eye damage over time. The solution is to wear the safety glasses (it comes with one pair and I also ordered a second pair).

This sucker is powerful. It will burn your skin immediately. It will set wood on fire in a few seconds and start wood smoking immediately. Yow. What have I done?
