Wow...I forgot about that old box in the closet!

Bet I got 250' of 1/32 track, all type of curves, supports, cars and even a loop.

I'll trade for gun stuff.

Church Ave? I once lived on Utica Ave and my son worked the 67Pct. I'm probably a bit older than you so I never heard of Buzzarama. There was a good bar on Church and Flatbush though. Hope your not still there!

Our local spot was called Tex Barry's in Somerset?, MA.
My uncle took me and his kids there in the mid to late 60's. It was great fun and some of the adults had amazing cars...they flew.
The cars my cousins and I had were cheap and didn't go that fast but boy they were a lot of fun.

You should get an award lasting there that long. Glad you broke out.

I remember the slot car tracks when I was in high school. We had a track here in des Moines that closed a year or so ago. Miss those times.

I remember when I was a kid, had alot of the tracks, cars and goodies. My mom would hate when I had that stuff all over the floor.

garvic was a big name then.
i still have the stinger and the vampire.
i remember how to avoid paying jacked prices on slot bodies, guys would buy standard issue model car bodies and fit them. they were a little heavier gauge plastic and would take the hits and last longer. the others were held on by 4 body screws and would rip after just one spin out.
most i knew ran w/o bodies, until a ruling made you have to have one.

remember cheater guides?

remember dead spots in tracks?
