Bears, thanks to the liberal conservation policies of our overgrown federal government, bears are camping in ever increasing numbers. There could be one in that very next tent.

Be aware of the bears! Remember, you can't spell vigilante with vigilant.

Hammock tarp rope blanket. Best way to camp. Set up takes 10 minutes and I don't care if it rains 12 inches overnight.

Never met a bear that liked a 10mm.!...... Have been stalked by a grizzly.!
Sucker had me treed for way over an hour.! Really didn't want to shoot it
so I cut me a 10ft. + sharp stick and kept poken it in the nose and mouth.!
It finally left.! Sheeeezz.! I was getting ready to shoot it though.I'm glad things worked out. Woo-Hoo..! Don't care much for badgers or skunks neither !

I think that's why I like it above the timber line so much , ain't nothing , birds , bears . bugs , nothing.! Just me.

I love camping in bear country!

I get along with them pretty well, and they tend to keep liberals away.

I like to get away as well. I pull the trailer 20 miles up the logging roads and set up beside a creek.

Most trips we can camp 5-7 days without seeing anyone other than my party, of the occasional forest ranger.

I have a 26 foot camper. It has pretty much everything. But I also enjoy tent camping. I would like to go back packing again. I havent done it in a long time. Really it has been like 20 years. The wife needs a minivan fullof crap for an overnight trip. I can carry everything I need in a back pack. But I am not a solitary person. I like to have another person or two with me. But no one else wants to backpack.
