Somewhere in between all of those! 8-foot popup that is just a tent (2-48 inch beds) on wheels and storage for gear. Portable kitchen for outside and chairs. Couple of coolers and we're good to go! Forgot to add, we have AC for the 100+ degree summer days (no, we don't stay in there all day, it is so we can sleep at night!). Heater for when it gets so cold that snugglin' isn't enough The ez-up for shade during the day on those 100+ degree days!

We have a 30 foot travel trailer but I would hardly call it camping lol. Air conditioning, fridge, stove, shower, hot water, TV etc. Its an older trailer but it still has most of the comforts of home just in a smaller package.

I live in North Florida so we camp mainly in Florida and Georgia. Some great places to camp without travelling massive distances.

When I was growing up back in England I camped in tents where the toilet was a hole you dug yourself. Now that is camping!

Big fan of tent camping, in fact all our crew are. I can't possibly list all the gear because when we all get together we kind of have everything. I do love my 9' x 9' eureka. it has a 7' center height. Thats it (sans vestibule fly) in the foreground.... by my doggie!

You can tell we are roughing it because we dont' have high def satellite.

No water, no electricity, no dump, in a parched desert environment.

We've done our fair share of tenting and 4 wheel drive locations.... but I love the dark desert on a clear night. SO MANY STARS.....

We've been camping as long as I can remember??
We've had a 30' Holiday Rambler since 96' which is a four season camper,I have a truck pop up overhead camper,and a small pop up camper I pull behind my motorcycle,and five tents ranging from one man to six man. Anymore it seems I prefer the tent or motorcycle pop up heading cross country for a couple weeks on the bike and in the tent....Yeah I like to camp

It's not about what gear you have , it's about where you go. I , am an extremest and like to get away from the crowd so I think light weight.

Back pack is the way for me . I can wonder until sun-set and know , everybody else can't make it out before dark ! I have the forest or mountain or whatever
to myself.
Pack: expedition (YAK-PAC) made by "Yak Works" !7000 Cubic inches+external lash points.
Tents: Eureka 4-per. Timber-Line ,Eureka-Solitaire , solo and my most crazy extreme , North Face "Mountain-25".! <--insane.!
Sleeping bags: North Face , Core , rated to 15.! North Face Aleutian , rated to 40 And my Crazy Mountain , made by REI rated to -40 team with an EARLY WINTERS (Gore-tex Bivy) good down to -60.! Hoo Yaah...! 3/4 closed-cell Ensolite pad under them.
Stove:MSR ,Dragonfly , multi-fuel , MSR Wisperlite , Coleman two and three burner Multi-fuel.
All kinds of "DU-DADS" Weather , navigation , Binocs. , etc.etc..!
Lanterns: Coleman Peak-1 Mini , Two UCO-singles , two UCO-Triples , etc. , etc...!
Cloths , skis , etc, . etc. , etc. , ........! Think it , I got one.! Anywhere , any time.!
PS: Climbing , up down , side-ways , ice , etc. , etc, . etc....!
