I want to be scattered over the Gulf of Mexico, I spent a large part of my life living along it's shore. I used to think I'd like to have my ashes mixed into shotshells and have my friends scatter my ashes at our local gun range where I lived in Florida.

My Dad wanted his ashes scattered along the first turn of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, he worked for many years every May as a security guard there. I haven't accomplished his wish yet but I will someday.

Cremated and ashes dumped into Bear Lake in Colorado. It's most majestic place I've ever been. image-1526257045.jpg

While I would personally love a Viking funeral, I'm sure that is legally frowned upon......so I will either be cremated and don't care if anyone has my ashes or I will donate my body to Science.

I agree. It is cremation for me, too. As for my ashes, I don't know......

There's also this alternative.

My wife and I will be cremated with our ashes to be joined in the same urn. Every Monday and Wednesday the urn is to be shaken, twice on Saturday.

Cremation for me.
The kids can do what they want with me after that.
Most likely a National Cem. or the Chesapeake Bay.

My wife and I bought Alcore memberships. It's off to the freezers for us. The logic there is that it's a one in a million (or billion) shot. But hey, folks win the lotto every day, and you can't win if you don't play. Plus the insurance policy is only $10 a month each.
