Glad you found yourself a new place Don.

And not so far off the track that I can't swing by and camp out in front of your house again.

Looks wonderful. I wish you much happiness there.

If you need help moving I think Lon is available.

Congrats! From some of the pics, looks like a small town to relax, a complete 180 degree turn from city life.

It's pretty quiet during the week. Weekends, it's a tourist town. No big deal. I hope to possibly pick up some side work and also plan on volunteering for a few community things there.

As soon as our ID is current, I will apply for my CCW. Unfortunately, it's "may issue" in Amador County.

Memorial Day weekend.

BTW, I got a major score. My buddy has a generator that he doesn't need and will sell it to me for $300. I don't know the details, but it's a good one, I've seen it. He'll set it up for me too. It's an MTC and I think he said it's 6k watts.

Also made a major score Saturday morning before we left for Sutter Creek. My neighbor across the street had a Troybuilt self propelled 21", 7.5hp mower out front with a "FREE" sign on it.

We snagged it and looked at it yesterday. The drive belt had come off the pulley and it needed gas. It's in most excellent condition.

Did I mention that it was free?

Things are going our way at long last. It's been a pretty rough patch for quite a while.

I believe that this is what our path was meant to be. The whole process has come together so smoothly and naturally. There was nothing forced about it at all and I just don't believe in coincidence.

From just going "exploring" to immediately finding the house, being guided to it really, to locking it in took less than four days. It seems almost miraculous to me.

Jo, the house is on a hill. If you can sleep on an angle, knock yourself out. Otherwise, c'mon inside. This house will actually have a guest bedroom.
