Where to sell an old BB gun
I have an old Daisy Red Ryder BB gun I'd like to sell. It was made between the years of 1947 to 1950. Has the wood stock and formarm. The model is No.111 Model 40 made by Daisy. It is in great shape and works fine. Has all the original screws and parts and looks look! Does anyone know where is the best place to sell this collectable little gun?

That kind of depends. It's more of a nostaglia item than anything else. Ebay is pretty antigun, but I don't know if that includes a Daisy Red Ryder or not. That would be my first choice to reach the type of folks you might be looking for.
I don't think there will be much of a market here, but who knows, someone might be looking to relive some childhood memories. Pictures would probably help your cause... JD |
hmmm.....I actually spent a few minutes considering whether to send you an email offering to buy it myself. :D
But, since I am currently bidding on real shotguns, I guess I should save my pennies. That being said, there is an internet auction site for airguns: http://www.bbairguns.com/cgi-bin/main.pl Also, I would try listing on gunbroker as well: http://www.gunbroker.com/ It might sell better than you think. Good luck. :) |
how much are you wanting for it?

On how much, well I have seen auctions for these and have seen some get more than $200 for one that wasn't as old as this one is. I'm not trying to get rich, give me a price and we can talk.

Try Craigs List. I bought one from that site,it's free.
