Bear in mind that my dad was a Marine. Here goes:

Oceanside CA.
29 Palms CA.
Irving NY.
Jacksonville NC.
Cherry Point NC.
Jacksonville FL.
Scottsdale AZ.
Okinawa Japan
29 Palms CA.
Irving NY.
Jacksonville NC.
Hubert NC.
jacksonville FL
Hubert NC
Irving NY.
Dunkirk NY.
Lackawana NY.
Jamestown NY.
Dunkirk NY
Fredonia NY
Dunkirk NY
Irving NY

All of the above were 6 months or more. Places with shorter times listed below.

Been to every state except HI, Alaska, and NJ.
Visited Canada, and Mexico. On the list of places I want to see are Russia, Australia, and Denmark. I have not been everywhere by any means, but I have been around. Seen a lot of the country, but I still have more of it I want to see. I see a lot of places in other posts that I have crashed in, and more than one I have stopped in in my travels. I think some of us are just born with a need to travel, I know I was.

Wow. Hard to imagine a couple of Yankees ending up in the same little town way down South.
I was in Athens back in '77-78.
Have a niece who still lives there.
