Permit-free car carry here in MS, not to mention some good food and a low cost of living. Also, most retirement income is not taxed at the state level in MS (pensions and such, not regular savings' interest). Still a good bit of rain, but really HOT in comparison.

I'll keep an eye out for ya...good choice. Most of the western states are very "free" still, and very beautiful, but also very cold in the winter. We're mostly one big happy family here in Dixie!!!
