When does a man cry?
 

I have been known for writing stories. Mostly funny stories. I did break down and post the story about my Crazy Shirley because she was on my mind yesterday. But I also try my hand at poems and prose too. Because the topic lately is I am a man etc etc, I dug up this short piece that I wrote many years ago.

When does a man cry?
He weeps with his smile of happiness as he holds his new born baby.
His sweat is his tears as he toils at his job to support his family
His worry is his tears as he works late at the office trying to get the impossible job done.
His excited shouts are his tears as his little child wobbles down the sidewalk on their first bike.
His smile is his tears as he meets his wife for a dinner date.
His sigh is his tears as he see's his child drive off to college.
And the painful look in his eyes is his tears as he helps his bedridden wife to get a drink
But we all know men don't cry.

a man cries when he gets married
at the loss of a loved one
when he gets saved
when momma looks at you and every thing is all right
when you really find out you love her;)
