Yea that's what I was thinking, I don't know what kind they are, just regular hose clamps. It's been too damn cold for me to go out and mess with it. I've been waiting for a warm day to get underneath it and track down where it's coming from. What are some things that are typical to a leaky radiator anyhow?

It could be a seam in the radiator leaking, or a hose, or a freeze plug or a water pump seeping, hard to say without looking, if your close to me, you can bring it to my shop and I can pressure test it for ya and look for the leak.

Cgersty is correct, the best way to find a coolant leak is to pressure test it. cold, the coolant doesn't have pressure and some leaks are apparent when heated and under pressure. there is also cold water leaks that will disappear when under pressure or heated up. if the coolant level is dropping but not going to the ground, it's also possible it's being ingested by the engine is some way. either into the oil system or into the combustion chamber.

Seems like a pressure test is what happens now. Anyone up to the challenge of diagnosing my brake system?

TNARG, lets start a new thread in the Club House and lets jump into it! i'd be glad to assist you if possible.

we're starting to derail this thread!

one of my other wacky collecting is coffee cups. my wife likes shot glasses from all over the place. when we go on trips, we try and find matching shot glasses and coffee cups! use to have many more than i do now, but many got lost when i moved years ago. have some i use occasionally and some stored in the attic. one day i hope to build a nice cabinet to display our collection of shot glasses and coffee cups.
