My usual breakfast spot was closed today, so I ended up at Cracker Barrel.
Eggs, country ham, grits, biscuits/gravy, apple's, apple butter, and coffee. Lots of coffee.

Limb, is that pork roll on that plate? And you get a gold star for using real mayonnaise on that sandwich.

No fried bologna. It comes in rolls and is great on crackers. Has very little water added so it fries up nice. The eggs have a little half&half added to make them fluff up then scrambled soft, not cooked to rubber. Also chedder cheese in them eggs. The biscuits have butter and honey on them.

I like apple butter myself on toast and biscuits.

Smoked pork chops, eggs, and some whole grain pilaf.

The bone from the pork chop, and an extra one I cooked will go into the crockpot with some pintos and become dinner.

i miss the days wheni was younger and lived at home. every Saturday and Sunday morning, my stepmom would fix a breakfast spread that was out of this world. my stepmom was an awesome cook! she made everything from scratch when she cooked.

she would make the best home made biscuits i have ever eaten. many times after breadkfast, i would take a few of the leftover biscuits and load the up with sausage patties or bacon and some jam or jelly and wrap them in wax paper to eat later on in the morning for a snack to tide me over until lunchtime.
