The vapor in an empty 20lb can of refrigerant can reach preasures in excess of 100psi on a hot day. You can sure tell when you get a hit!

I like fired 12 ga hulls at 25 yds as a .22 pistol target. Approximate the head/neck area of a spruce grouse. Balloons released on a breezy day with a good snow cover to keep them from popping on vegetation are a GAS. It's amazing how quickly they revert to the wild.

I like to shoot water bottles. Never dull when they explode.

Have you ever put a can of soda over a penny and shot it with a fast round?
It will make the penny jump and put an impression on the bottom of the can.

I am not sure, but that is something that my dad told me. You either have to shoot the can or the stump that it is sitting on.

Tennis balls are also very good, they bounce around amusingly and can tolerate dozens of hits before decomposing.
