Last time I went to cabelas, (I hate that place) I was looking at a remmy 700 ultra mag because I wanted to see the action length. Dude "helping" me tells me it's a Mauser action. I said "How the hell do you figure that?" He said it was because it had 2 locking lugs on the bolt. Apparently that's what a Mauser is. I told him it was in fact NOT a Mauser, handed back the rifle, and maturely walked away. I was proud of myself for not getting into a pissing match and chalked it up to affirmative action. I guess retards need jobs too.

Yes the action is BASED off mauser straight bolt but it is NOWHERE near a damn mauser.
