grilling some brauts on the grill, but first they have to be cooked in beer to get the flavor to lock in and keep them juicy. I use a mix of beer, onion, some butter, a few spices and then after they turn white in the mix put them on the beer to finish them off. also this year going to be grilling some onions for toppings as well as some roasted jalapeno's for the crowd that likes a little spice. no idea what we are having for side as i am only in charge of the main dish

It's too jeezly hot for much of anything but a BLT. Not even noon yet, it's nearly 70* already. Might grill some home made brats after it cools down, that doesn't happen til nearly 10 pm. The Lovely Mrs made a potato salad last night, that will go good with all possibilities.

Roast chicken smothered in stewed tomato's, country fried steak, peppercorn gravy, whipped sweet potato's, Southwest style corn with red/green peppers and onions, rolls with strawberry jam, and for dessert, maybe we'll go down to the beach for ice cream.
