A La. tradition, You can make your own. Check out the local store or pizza parlor and ask if they would sell you the bread dough. 1 or 2 pounds goes a long way. Roll out on a floured table to one eighth inch thick then cut into triangle shape the size you want, let sit till they puff up just a little. Fry till just browned on both sides, it happens quick so watch it close. Drain on paper towels in an up right position. After that its just sprinkling on the powdered sugar.......I like mine with steens cane syrup and butter.... Bon apetit.......

Wills, do you ever use Sorghum on anything? I love that stuff.

Yeah, Sorghum is a type of molasses. I love the stuff. Sometimes I have a craving and I just eat a spoonful of it right out of the jar.

I was thinking of something else. You mean cattle feed......Yea I had that with the molasas....... We fed that to the cattle in the winter time..... Taste purty good......

While living in "Nort Loosanna" I was introduced to fried canned biscuits. I like to cook a few biscuits when I fry fish, poke a hole in the biscuit and pour in some cane syrup.
