Yes indeed, thats the biggest "bullet" Ive fired as well both from a 203 and a Mk19. I suppose 81 MM Mortars could be considered even bigger bullets as well, Shot out!

Splash, Ooops , Cease fire, cease fire!

Just as a side note, I was at a familiarization range in AP hill VA and we were learning how to fire 60mm Mortars. (Im a Missile Guy)! We practiced for hours dropping rounds and sliding our hands down the tubeout of the way of the muzzle, first dummys and sub munitions, finally its time for me to drop HE. I clasp the round, eased the fins into the tube, dropped the round and slid my hands but didnt slide past the muzzle quick enough and boom, the round went up through my hands like a bullet! I scorched the tops of my thumbs and hands but luckily they stayed attached!!!!! That was way too phucken close for me, I stuck with missiles from then on...

Splash out. Driftwood down, driftwood down! Check fire! Strippers crying in the street!

That was an actual prank call I heard on the PRC once upon a time.

The gunner's response? "We hit the strip club? Oh my god we're going to hell."

OOPs is the one single word you never wanna hear during a live fire exercise, never ever! Hearing it means something has just gone south!

Ouch!!! Think about the strippers for gods sake! Thats gonna piss them off for sure!

Theres a little town just outside of Fort Drum called Antwerp. It was a couple miles down range of our TOW live fire missile range. Occasionally we have an excursion round where the command link would be severed by a gunner jerking the system or foreign object in the path and that missile would take its last command and just keep going til it hit something. More than once I heard "That ones headed for Antwerp"! Must suck to be them!

God I miss messing around on the singars radios when we were in Kuwait my section chief had a heavy Spanish accent and was trying to do a radio check and I responded " there is no radio shack in Kuwait" he was not amused.
When we were in Iraq our battery had 3 live fires and on one one fin didn't deploy on a missile it crash landed about 40 miles away in a farmers field we sent qrf and when they got there all the explosives were stripped out of it. This was a $750000 missile that was supposed to take out a compound in Kurd country needless to say it didn't make it
