It can be anything.

I would kill for a side by side 10. Or better yet, an 8, just for the hell of it.

i shot that 10 ga. once when i was about 14 or 15. it has left a permanent memory with me. my father fired it off into a 55 gallon drum at about 20 feet. it decimated that drum! left very little there after it was done.

i asked him if i could shoot it. i had shot a 12 ga. and had a 20 ga. believe me, going from a 12 ga. to a 10 ga. when you're a teenager is a huge difference in recoil.

Apart from .50 caliber machine guns which were more powerful but mounted to something solid, 12 gauge shotguns.

Handguns, .44 Magnum revolvers. I see no reason to abuse my hands with larger caliber handguns when there are so many perfectly good rifles around.

I've always wanted to shoot a Barrett, but I never had 10 grand lying around for one.

Hey, put a gun in my hands and I'll shoot it.

The 458's recoil was surprisingly light considering it was in a somewhat light gun. I was thinking it would damn near put me on my ass.
