Most likely from the "Free OJ" crowd. I don't remember seeing anything about LVMPD making that comment. But it ended up being true. The casino videos show Simpson and his "mob" entering empty handed and walking out with boxes. Also there was the testimony of the bellman that helped them put that box in the trunk.
