Default What Is Your Favorite Western (s)

I really loved The Rifleman.

Movies, would have to be a little known movie called The Rounders, released in 1965, starring Glen Ford and Henry Fonda. No you tube clips.

I grew up watching westerns with my grandpa, out of all that I've seen, I like True grit (original and remake) Tombstone and Blazing saddles

The Outlaw Josie Wales is my favorite.

There have been a bunch of good ones. Clint Eastwood has made some good ones. Lonesome Dove was excellent! Quigley Down Under is a favorite. And Tombstone!

TV... Have Gun Will Travel ... Yancey Derringer... The Grey Ghost.

Rooster Cogburn
The Shadow Riders
Crossfire Trail

Favorite Western TV Shows:
The Bearcats
Shennendoah
The Rebel

I've researched this and found listings of 185 Western TV series, including a few modern ones like Sky King and a few earlier period ones like Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett. I've seen one or more episodes of at least 100 of them.

Fistful Of Dollars
Hang 'Em High
True Grit

and a bunch more...
