I guess I didn't say enough to clearly explain my feelings about this. Yes, I agree that someone should be able to shoot their firearms as they wish, but they should show common courtesy when doing so. More than once I have had some joker shoot when I was downrange trying to check my target. I have had people start shooting before I could get my hearing protection on.
Not all of us are impressed by seeing guys wave guns around and that "pow pow pow" and "rat-a-tat-tat" shooting. Some of us saw some of that in our military days when it was serious business. We don't like seeing shooters leave garbage behind in public areas.
Like Misfire said, we have the right to think some of them are irresponsible idiots. I guess you could argue that other people have the right to drive their vehicles the way they want, but doesn't it get irritating at times when they drive way too slow or cut in front of you or tailgate you?
