I think most of us had more than one favorite, but there is one particular cartoon that usually stuck out above the others. My favorites were transformers, thunder cats, and gi joe, but my all time favorite was He-man and the masters of the universe.

All that other stuff comes and goes, through it all there was the Looney Toons. The gold standard for children's entertainment.

Woody woodpecker, was my all time favorite . The sad thing is, Walter Lantze never signed off on syndication rights so you'll never see woody on t.v. again, but you can still find him on you tube
