I read one crime book a while ago. It was really good but I cant remember the name or who wrote it.
“Every person's life is theirs by right. An individual's life can and must belong only to to himself, not to any society or community, or he is then but a slave.”

“If you are unwilling to defend your right to your own lives, then you are merely like mice trying to argue with owls. You think their ways are wrong. They think you are dinner.”

“Pity for the guilty is treason to the innocent."

“Not everyone is willing to embrace liberty; liberty requires not just effort, but risk. Some people choose to delude themselves and see their chains as protective armor.”

My two favorite authors. Sometimes, in the midst of the story line, Burke will take off on describing something like a sunset over the smoky cane fields of Louisiana with a sentence that will be a paragraph long and covers such a wide range of emotions and nostalgia it has to be read over a couple of times to get the full meaning.

And I'm a fan of Childs' character 'Jack Reacher.'

Currently End the Fed by Ron Paul. I just finished Liberty Defined. I usually just read all the John Grisham I can get.

The Histories by Herodotus. I have to say, I like Tacitus better.

just finished the following books within the last 2 months - Agent ZigZag by Ben MacIntyre , American Assassin by Vince Flynn, Cape to Cairo by Kingsley Holgate, Patriots and Pinheads by Bill Oreilly and Condoleeza Rice Memoirs. As you can tell, I'm kinda bored these days!
