How bout elk steaks marinated in Jack Daniels black marinate w jalapeno chopped up in it, baked taters, corn on the cob, and cornbread muffins cooking on the grill??

There we go. Not a foodie but that sounds awesome. Down to the ground elk in the freezer. JD marinade good? Oh since this is a music thread - the ocean in the background :-)

Yes its some very good stuff. I buy the mixes at hyvee. After killing three elk last year I'm still doing good on steaks I also have about 120-145# of burger left
