Yeah, yeah, it's chick music. But damn, they were good.
The Righteous Brothers.
It's a shame Bobby died so early.
It's just me but I'd rather listen to them than Elvis any day.

Let flame begin...

Saw 'em live a few times back in the '80s. Great shows.

Watching Rossini' s Barber of Seville at the Met.
It's intermission, so I'm checking my roast and wandering the web.

This past September they were doing Macbeth at Fort Point in San Francisco. It sounds fantastic, but I couldn't get anyone to go with me.

Fort Point is a Civil War era fort that sits underneath the southern end of the golden Gate bridge. Its an awesome setting, but at the same time it is pretty much outdoors in the elements with fog and precipitation from the fog even on some nice days. That and the wind. The Weplayers do these productions in the SF area at historic sites fairly often. A couple of years ago they did Hamlet on Alcatraz. Sorry I missed that.

Didn't he win an award for that album this year? Or maybe it was entertainer of the year, something like that. Anyway is the album pretty good?
