It's okay. A little fruity tasting but not overpowering. A hard contrast from the last brew. Still a decent choice, I wouldn't drink it constantly.
I'm always looking for new fun beers. I'm still a devoted Guinness fan, but I'll check out that stout. I try all kinds of stuff. A lot of it is OK to pretty good. Some is terrible. But once in a while you run into something amazing.

I am not a fan of IPAs. Fermented lemonade or grapefruit juice would taste better than some IPA. But I had an IPA at a beer tasting in January. It was the best of the 4 beers we sampled. It was the least hoppy/citrusy IPA I've ever tasted. Like a fool, I didn't write down the name. I'll get it from the distributor at the next tasting...

The big stores around here let you mix a 6 pack got $9.00. It's nice to try different stuff. I like guiness' smithwicks. That's a good brew.

I had one at an Irish pub in mason Ohio, it was a dark stout porter that was amazing. Thick like
Guiness but tastes better, I think it's alcohol
Content was slightly higher as well.

Same as you, I forgot the name.

I want either less corruption or more opportunity to participate in it.

I would highly suggest based upon your posts that you find and spend a couple of extra bucks on Aventinus. Nector of the Gods in my opinion. The label on the left is the old one. They have a new label now on the right, but same great taste!

Oh, and you'll like the Ipswich Oatmeal Stout above too!

Tax time for me. Looks like a coffee day.

Hmmmm... Guinness Stout looks like coffee after the head is gone. Pour it now. Wait about a week and voila, no more head! Naahh, no way I could leave it for a week. More often than not the beer is gone before the head is.
