Had a small get togther with close family and friends at the main house. Short of the patients and employees down the road at the hospital, we basicly had the whole street over to our place. Hope NYE was a safe and fun time for all.

Playing bingo. My friend and I took our wifes. They passed out noise makers. Then they said over the intercom that those of us that did not receive a noise maker should make whatever noise we could. My wife looked at me and said, "Your gun would make a lot of noise." We laughed and decided that was not what they meant.

My wife just told me I was snoring pretty good about midnight, when she woke up and looked at the clock.

At my sisters near Chicago. We go to Chandler's every year. Pretty good bash. Football all day today.

Our daughter sent the granddog to us for a while, including last night. When the folks around here started shooting their guns off at midnight, the granddog freaked out and started shaking. Took us 30 min to calm him down.

Wife said why don't you go out and stop them. I said right, go out and stop drunks from shooting guns, when I have no idea what at or where they are shooting them. That is the police's job. I just worked on settling the dog down.

I am thinking the daughter went through this last year with the dog and decided it was a better job for me then her!

For the time being though I am at my dad's house in Santa Cruz and on FTF having some green tea. Some douchebag just emptied a 10-round mag into the air on the next block. Couldn't tell which house though. What an ass. I think the City of Santa Cruz is a gun free zone though so I should be safe LOL!
I heard some guy down the block shoot a 12 ga into the air/ground 3 times at midnight. After I yelled "You hittin anything!!" He stopped.

The last two years we have had kids get shot because of the assclowns firing into the air. I happened again last night.

Yeah firing guns off into the air is a very stupid thing to do. I'm just glad the one I heard was a rifle, or I wouldn't have been as kind.

A rifle?
With all the fireworks that people set off its hard to hear if somebody is firing a gun.
