I'd report the AR stolen as well. You should've gone to the police as soon as the incident took place.

I did actually. They said no report needed for this incident as of yet. And I will need to go to magistrate in the morning.

It does suck very bad. I've had so many FTF transactions. Never once had a problem, hell most of them ill talk to for an hour about guns.

Isn't there a place to check serial numbers for stolen guns?

a LE agency is the only one i can think of. i don't know of any available to private citizens or the general public.

Axxe is right. I have a cop buddy who will run numbers for me, but if it comes up stolen I would have to turn it in to him. So far so good.

That's good advice. Do you have documentation of what the agreement was? Otherwise it may be his word against yours about the $200.

Yes I have the text messages saved and I was on video the whole time at a gas station so I'm all good there.
