What wine do you drink?
This is sure to start something, but if any of you drink wine, what is it? Personally, in addition to Bud light , I like a homegrown Texas wine, my favorites are St. Genivieve Red and Fall Creek vineyards Merlot. I also like Jameson's Irish Whiskey and good old Jack Daniels(Black). I make my own beer and mead from time to time.

Sierra Nevada's Bigfoot Ale. Which is a Barley wine. Will that work?

As a homebrewer, Sierra Nevada, is always a good choice! Nice flavor, good hops aroma! Good choice!

Wild Irish Rose anyone?
Just kidding. If I have to (2x's per year) I will never turn down the Caymus Conundrum. It is getting harder to find, but it goes with everything and the flavour (..vour) is awesome. Not very cheap, tho. :D |
Edna Valley Vinyards (San Louis Obisbo, Ca.) & Clos Du Bois (Sonoma, Ca.)
These are the ones I consume for now. The Merlots for cooking and table, sometimes a Pineot Noir with smoked meats and the Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and White Zifandel's with most any meal. Drink beer also but not as much as I used to. But this is a "Wine Thread" If theres a "Beer Thread" started I'll go further into this there. |

I make a kick-butt concord grape wine that tastes like mad-dog, (Mogen David).Right now we have peach wine, raspberry wine, my concord grape, and a few bottles of hard cider... Now I have to ask the question of myself, why am I saving all this for??? Plus alot of different asti's....

For the money, Clos Du Bois produces great wines. Although a large production winery their Briarcrest Cabernet Savignon, Marlstone (Bordeaux Style Cabernet) and reserve series wines are excellent!! Story winery is a small family winrey in Plymouth, Ca. has some outstanding Zinfandels as does Madrona winery in Camino, Ca.. The Madrona 2005 Zinfandel was spectacular!
Where is the Beer thread? Found it http://www.firearmstalk.com/forums/f12/what-beer-do-you-drink-12609/ |
