Hmmm... Nice food (including a lovely homemade chocolate chip loaf). Two cases of freeze dried ground beef. Quite a few Christmas CD's. Quite a few movie DVD's. A new Seiko. A Mort Kunstler (numbered and signed) print. A reproduction of Gustavus Adolphus' rapier as well as a new colichmarde bladed sword (both with matching Main Gauche)... Hmmm...

New tool box for my truck, bunch of clothes, $200 in cabalas cards, couple of visa gift cards, weaver scope base for my ruger and a Nikon scope to go with said ruger and base. Had a blast watching my family open their gifts. I had a guy make my dad a damascus knife. He makes the grip panels and bolsters then puts them all together.

well, my new "toys" this Christmas were new carpeting in the house along with new hardwood flooring which I installed. Quite happy with it, but not too exciting as nothing firearms related.

Wife got me the upper for my birthday lowers kit for Christmas put it together today. Also got 200 rounds of .45 acp lee dies and trimmer guide for .45 so all in all a good Christmas. I'm very fortunate to have a great wife good in-laws and family that all love to give to each other. As fun as getting all I wanted was giving my wife stuff that made her day.

How is that? .22 guns have always been kinda boring after 50 rounds for me. Is the fun factor high enough to justify the purchase?
