'04 GMC Sierra. Short cab, long box, 4x2, 5.3L V-8. Only mistake I made was not getting an extended cab.Family member allowed me to use his "A" plan. Couldn't beat the price.

I've got a 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport 2x4 reg cab. Had it a few years now. It's been a great truck. We recently bought a 2004 Ford F150 XLT 4x4 because the dodge just didn't have enough room in the cab, it was difficult to for my wife, kid and I to go anywhere in it together. I bought a Ford cause I like them and heard good things about them. Plus I had an 88' F150 that was a great truck. My wife also has an 06 Explorer.
Plus they gave us a pretty good deal, the dealer and I were confident we would get the loan since my wife works for the bank so they let us take it home for the weekend before the loan went through. It bluebooked for 15,900 but we got it for 11,900.

Donn, once you ever go with an extended cab or a four door truck, it's hard to ever go back to a single cab. even though it's just the wife and i, i still like my four door truck.

I drive a 2008 Honda Ridgeline because I no longer work in the construction field it tows my boat (22' Sylvan) much better than my Dodge 4x4 ever did and its a great ride I love the 4x4 on demand and am totally impressed at how easily it pulls my boat out on unimproved boat ramps.

I agree with ya, the two trucks I had previous to my black Dakota was a red 97 Dakota extended cab and the 88 F150 extended cab. Neither had more than two doors but had the backseat. It felt strange when I bought the reg cab dakota.
Also another reason I bought the 04 F150, I always wanted a 4x4 truck and this is my first one. I've heard once you go 4wd you'll never want to go back to 2wd.

You got that right, Ax. Figured with the kids grown & gone, I wouldn't need the room. Wrong again Donn.

Had a 84 f150 with a 6 cyl. But I sold it for this two days ago.

94 Chevy bored .30 and new performance transfer with limited slip rear end. It needs the hood and top of the cab painted but I couldn't pass for the price. Also it will tow my boat better than the straight 6.

I had a 2006 Chevy 2500HD because I was road racing sport bikes and pulling a 24' trailer around the country.
I sold that a few weeks ago and just got an F-150 Lariat. Just wanted something with cooled and heated seats. Ended up getting something that has so much technology in it that I'll never figure out how to use it all. I'm betting that it'll give me a blow job if I could find the right button combination.
