Default What kind of spider is this?

Ok, so I have a fear of spiders. I have found two spiders in my house like this. Is this a brown recluse? Or something else? I've tried to Google this but they(brown spiders) all look the same to me. I know the brown recluse isn't native to my area but I moved from Tallahassee, FL last summer.

Don't worry, it's not a brown recluse. Looks like a wolf spider but i'm not certain about that.

Phew! Not that a brown recluse would kill me but I'd hate to lose my trigger finger due to necrosis or something. Haha

I know what you mean. I wouldn't worry about what you got there, looked them up and that's definitely a wolf, as long as it's not a south american breed a bit of pain is the worst you'll get from a bite. Long as you're not allergic anyway lol

Sorry, I couldn't tell you what that spider is. But e sure to have your bite checked out.

I was bit by an unknown spider last year during a canoe trip. At first I thought it was a mosquito bite because it was a small red dot that just kept itching.
2 days later I had a baseball sized lump on my leg that needed immediate medical attention.
The lump had to be cut open and drained of fluid. After multiple injections and painkillers, I was told I had Mersa and a staph infection. According to the doctor, whatever it was that bit me was venomous but not powerful enough to kill me, but the venom could have started to eat at my skin and tissue.
I will never underestimate an insect again.

Not the best picture, but this is the day after the bite occurred. The black circle is magic marker my wife had drawn around the initial swelling. She said that if it had swelled outside that circle, I'd be going to the hospital... it blew up the next day.

Well I wasn't bit. I just act like a wimpy girl when it comes to spiders.

Those pics looked pretty gruesome! I try to play it safe. I always check my shoes and such....

I just was trying to bring peace to myself by trying to determine what was crawling around my house lol

Sorry for the confusion lol
